چکیده
Abstract Sufficient agricultural water for irrigation is an important factor in food production, yet available fresh only occupies 1% of the on earth. Seawater, through desalination, becomes rational solution to provide due abundant quantities and beneficial nutrients crops. Hydroponic using desalinated seawater as medium approach accomplish security, especially arid coastal areas. This study aimed examine growth mustard ( Brassica juncea L.) a blend sulfuric acid activated zeolite hydroponic medium. The experiment consisted one control (100% water+AB mix) treatments namely 70% 30% with various concentrations i.e 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 N. was lower than water. A 1.5 N showed no significant different compared weight reduction about 24%. Insignificant between optimum treatment indicated simple desalination method this can be utilized desalinating purpose. finding emphasized that promising interesting further developed sustainable management agriculture.

Variability of Fatty Acid Composition in Interspecific Hybrids of Mustard Brassica Juncea and Brassica Napus
In Sri Lanka, mustard (Brassica juncea) is cultivated as a subsidiary crop for the seeds used as a condiment in cooking. In the Indian sub-continent, however, it is an important oilseed crop used as a source of vegetable oil. Mustard has over 45% erucic acid (C22:1) which is unsuitable nutritionally for human consumption. The Brassica oilseed species, B. napus and B. campestris, were developed ...

This study investigates the effects of temperature and pressure on inactivation of myrosinase extracted from black, brown and yellow mustard seeds. Brown mustard had higher myrosinase activity (2.75 un/mL) than black (1.50 un/mL) and yellow mustard (0.63 un/mL). The extent of enzyme inactivation increased with pressure (600-800 MPa) and temperature (30-70° C) for all the mustard seeds. However,...
متن کاملASSESSING APHID INFESTATION IN INDIAN MUSTARD (Brassica juncea L.) UNDER PRESENT AND FUTURE CLIMATE SCENARIOS
Mustard (Brassica juncea L.) production in India suffers from aphid, Lipaphis erysimi (Kaltenbach), infestation considerably. Role of weather on the incidence and development of mustard aphids was assessed from experimental data from six north Indian locations. Aphid appearance and population build up was found to be regulated by temperature and time to attain peak population was relatively sho...
